How It Works

The quickest way to kill a fire is to not let it feed off the oxygen in the vicinity. Ceasefire’s Foam based Extinguishers use a chemical foam that blankets the flames and cuts off the oxygen supply. While they are effective against Class A and B fires, they are ideal for use on burning liquids like oil and petrol.

  • Pull the safety pin or ring to break the seal and prepare the extinguisher for use.

​

  • Aim the nozzle or hose at the base of the flames, maintaining a safe distance from the fire.

​

  • Squeeze the handle or lever to discharge the extinguishing agent.

​

  • Sweep the nozzle of hose from side to side, covering the base of the fire with the extinguishing agent until the flames are completely extinguished.

Extinguishing Effect Of Foam AFFF

  • The AFFF foam provides a powerful knockdown effect on inflammable liquids.

How It Works

  • AFFF foam is available in 1%, 3% and 6% concentrate variants. These concentrates are manufactured from synthetic type materials.
  • Foam is a composition of water, air and foam concentrates.
  • It controls the fire by raid smothering and cooling.
  • Wheeled AFFF foam fire extinguisher create blanket effect over the fire , preventing it from spreading or re-igniting.
  • With wheels, these extinguishers can be mobilized easily at the point of fire quickly, thus dousing the fire before fire tender arrives.
