Non-Market Strategy

非市場戰略

  • Lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Taiwan
  • In 2001, 1 out of 4 deaths in middle aged men (35–69 years old) were attributable to smoking as published in the BMJ Medical Journal
  • Smoking has been and will continue to increase if smoking rates remain constant or even if rates are reduced annually by 2%
  • Current efforts in tobacco control would lead to a progressive increase in SAM, unless efforts were doubled and smoking rates reduced by more than 4% a year.

17 of 19

  • Smoke free campaign titled “Smoke Free. Happy Me”
  • Involves commercials, social media, and information booths at all Bayer-sponsored Radiology conventions
  • Purpose would be to decrease smoking and second-hand smoke related illness by informing the public of the health risks posed
