A Virtual Tour...

Introduction

Mrs. Torre, Principal

My name is Mary Lou Torre, and I have been blessed to be the principal at St. Peter School (PK-8) for the past four years.

The staff and faculty at St. Peter School are extremely proud to teach our students and help them to achieve academically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically now and well into their future. At St. Peter School, our students learn to think critically in addition to learning basic academic skills in math, literacy, and the sciences. Our students learn to serve others by following Christ's example. Most importantly, our school is a family!

As a parent, one of the most important decisions you will make focuses on the spiritual, academic, social and emotional educational opportunities available for your child. I sincerely hope you enjoy this virtual tour and consider St. Peter School for your family. May God bless you!

Our School - Middle School

The middle school years are filled with excitement! Students engage in reading and writing workshop, explore math on a deeper level, participate in lively discussions around current topics in science and social studies, and learn the fine points of how to conduct an experiment and write a comprehensive lab report.

Science Lab/Innovation Lab/Personalized Learning...

Personalized Learning, including hands-on learning, are important components of the fabric of St. Peter School. Our students have one 90 minute block in core academic subjects weekly to allow for dedicated investigation of subject matter often using devices. This is in addition to weekly specials in the areas of Spanish, PE, Art, and Music. In music class, our wonderful music teacher instructs students in singing hymns for Friday Mass, learning general music, and playing the ukulele. Our teachers also work with students on creative projects as part of Innovation Lab. In the middle school, our students use the science lab regularly to conduct experiments.
