The Resource Package:

This resource package has been designed for Stage 4 as a cross-curricular integrated, student-led inquiry unit of work that can be completed at home with some help from parents. It consists of 6 interrelated modules that deepen the understanding of the inquiry focus and culminates with students designing a wellbeing media campaign. Students employ a design-thinking mindset throughout this unit of work.

The sequencing and timing of the modules are flexible and can be implemented as a 5 week learning module or as an in-depth term-long study. The unit addresses a range of syllabus outcomes from the New South Wales TAS, PDHPE, and CAPA key learning areas.

The unit is supported by detailed Google Docs and introduction videos that will enable students to work though the modules at their own pace.

There is also a parent guide to assist remote learning.

The Inquiry Task:

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic there is an increasing need to focus on our own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. This includes our physical health, mental health and diet. Investigate, discover and design new ways to explore and enhance your wellbeing in this new context.
