หน่วยการเรียนรู้นี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายให้นักเรียนเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ การออกเสียงโครงสร้างประโยค หน้าที่ทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเกี่ยวกับอาหารและเครื่องดื่มโดยผ่านการฝึกทักษะการระบุประโยคให้สัมพันธ์กับภาพร้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม การฟังบทสนทนาเกี่ยวกับการสั่งรายการอาหาร  การพูดถาม-ตอบและบรรยายความรู้สึกของตนเกี่ยวกับอาหารที่ชอบและไม่ชอบ อ่านบทสนทนาการซื้อขายอาหารจานด่วน และข้อความบรรยายอาหารจานโปรด เขียนแผ่นพับแนะนำอาหารที่ดีหรือไม่ดีต่อสุขภาพ ที่ได้จากการศึกษารวบรวมและสรุปจากแหล่งเรียนรู้เพื่อเป็นพื้นฐานในการเรียน และการใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันต่อไป

คำศัพท์และสำนวนภาษา

• food court (n.): a large covered area or room, for example inside a shopping centre, where there are small restaurants selling many different types of food that you can eat at tables in the middle of the area (ศูนย์ขายอาหาร)
• sandwich (n.): two pieces of bread, sometimes spread with butter or margarine, and with some other usually cold food between them (ขนมปังแซนด์วิช)
• pizza (n.): a large circle of flat bread baked with cheese, tomatoes, and sometimes meat and vegetables spread on top (พิซซ่า)

• cheese (n.): a food made from milk, that can be either firm or soft and is usually yellow or white in color (เนยแข็ง, ชีส)
• soup (n.): a usually hot, liquid food made from vegetables, meat, or fish (ซุป, น้ำแกง)

ASEAN CONNECT

ทำโครงงานอาหารประจำชาติของเจ้าของภาษาและของประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียน

• ให้นักเรียนสนทนากันเกี่ยวกับอาหารประจำชาติของเจ้าของภาษาและของประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียนและบอกอาหารประจำชาติที่รู้จัก
• นักเรียนทำงานกลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 6 คน เพื่อเตรียมข้อมูลการทำโครงงานการศึกษาข้อมูลอาหารประจำชาติของเจ้าของภาษาและของประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียนแล้วนำเสนอข้อมูลในชั้นเรียน
• นักเรียนแบ่งภาระงานให้ทั่วถึงทุกคนและชัดเจนว่าใครทำหน้าที่ใดบ้าง
• นักเรียนสืบค้นข้อมูลจากแหล่งเรียนรู้ต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับอาหารประจำชาติของเจ้าของ�ภาษาและประจำชาติของประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียนตามความสนใจของนักเรียน เพื่อนำข้อมูลมาจัดทำโครงงานอาหารประจำชาติ
