Broader Impacts:
- Provide a longer-term, sustainable mechanism for engaging a broad set of IHEs, focusing on research and education topics of interest
- Accelerate the adoption of cyberinfrastructure technologies and resources as well as the development of cyberinfrastructure knowledge and skills.
Deliverables:
- Host 3 regional workshops that aim to reduce barriers and improve the adoption of cyberinfrastructure technologies and resources by small, often under-resourced IHEs
- Provide a regional forum for IHEs to learn about and engage in the broader national CI ecosystem.
- Encourage regional CI relationships
- Produce a flexible framework and a repository materials that will support the delivery of future regional workshops
Challenge Project Seeks to Address:
- Address the gaps that persist in accessibility of education and research IT infrastructure to students and faculty of smaller IHE
- Increase accessibility of info. about regional/national CI resources through state and regional based workshops versus national forums
