• City staff and Hamilton Bike Share Inc. are collecting and presenting data on the history of bike share, the business case and financials, and ridership trends.

• The facts are necessary, yet insufficient to change hearts and minds!

• Resident and Sobi user stories, presented through in-person, virtual, or pre-recorded delegations are most effective.

Ways to submit a comment

• Delegate in-person or virtually at General Issues Committee Meeting April 9th (9:30am?)

• Submit a written comment to the committee

​

• Submit a pre-recorded video to the committee

Will they ask me questions?

• Councillors cannot challenge or debate you, but they can ask clarifying questions
• (e.g., you spoke about how this program is popular amongst students, can you speak to why you think a student-focused program should be funded by everyone in the city?)

• Don’t be afraid to say you don’t know – you are there as a community member to share your experience. You are an expert in your own experience.
