Week of December 15 –December 19, 2025

Dec. 19 – Winter celebration/class party beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Dec. 22-Jan. 6: Winter Break. Students return to school on January 6^th.

Reading: Recognize and use text features to answer questions about a text.

Writing: Research writing on why sleep is important.

​

Math: Solving subtraction and addition problems.

​

Science/Social Studies: Identifying similarities and differences between oneself and others.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun winter break. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

• Free breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:00 – 7:30.
• Wear tennis shoes on P.E. days.
• Ice Cream: $1.00
• Please send in a seasonal change of clothes for your child if you have not already done so.

**Please check your child’s blue folder daily for important information!**

Please make sure your child is wearing a heavier, warm coat on the cold days. We still like to go outside on colder days, and a heavier coat is needed on these days. Thanks!

19 de diciembre: Celebración de invierno/Fiesta de la clase comienza a la 1:00 p.m.

22 de diciembre - 2 de enero: Vacaciones de invierno. Los estudiantes regresan a la escuela el 6 de enero

• Desayuno gratuito en la cafetería de 7:00 a 7:30.
• Use tenis los días de educación física.
• Helado: $1.00
• Por favor, envíe un cambio de ropa de temporada para su hijo/a si aún no lo ha hecho.

***¡Revise la carpeta azul de su hijo/a a diario para obtener información importante!***

Por favor, asegúrese de que su hijo lleve un abrigo grueso y abrigado en los días fríos. Nos gusta salir en los días más fríos, y es necesario un abrigo más grueso en esos días. ¡Gracias!

Esperamos que todos tengan unas vacaciones de invierno seguras y divertidas. Los estudiantes regresarán a clases el martes 6 de enero de 2026.
