    • I’ve been happily married since 2006 to my husband who is an attorney and we love to travel as a family.
    • I love coaching the Mighty Oaks cheer team.

What we will be doing this year?

  • Prepare students to be able to learn and advocate for themselves in a general education classroom successfully, students in this class all have IEPs.

Data

  • All Miwok students take the math benchmark 3 times during the school year.

  • The math departments objective is to measure growth made over the course of the year.

  • By doing a Miwok specific assessment students are able to use all of their accommodations.

  • 2025 - RSP and Gen Ed math made the same amount of growth.

  • 2024 - RSP students made 2% more growth than their Gen Ed peers.

  • This is due to explicitly teaching and practicing the tools that students are given.

How can you analyze data at home?

  • Every Friday the students have a quiz.

  • Each question will be recorded by lesson number from the book. (1.1, 1.2, 1.3)

  • The lowest score they can get is 50%.

  • 2 or more whiteboard markers, no yellow
  • 1 whiteboard eraser or an old clean sock
  • 1 highlighter

What should you see at home?

  • Your child should ask you to check HW and sign their planner Mon-Thurs.

  • HW is assigned Mon-Thurs and should be done WITH THEIR NOTES OUT.

  • Current grades and math curriculum grades will be put in their planners (almost) every Monday.

  • You will receive a text from Remind with the HW and other reminders.

-Geared for students. (There are

also extra credit opportunities.)

District Grading Scale

  • A - 90-100%
  • B – 80-89%
  • C – 70-79%
  • D – 60-69%
  • F – 50-59%

The lowest score a student can receive is 50%, so missing means missing.
