The speed of the yellow bar is stated for each Pokemon. It will either be:

The speed of the bar could potentially signify how rare a Pokemon is to fish (but not necessarily for Wailmer. It's speed is VERY slow but quite rare to fish.)

2.2 Gem Collector

At the bottom of the 'Gem Collector' page, you are able to trade your gems in for a Pokemon recorded in your Pokedex.

You are able to choose the Pokemon you want, and it will then show the amount of gems you own and the amount of gems you need. If you have the right amount of gems, the text will be green. If not, the text will be red. If you have the right amount, you press 'Trade', and you will receive the Pokemon as an egg if you have a free spot in your party.

- The rarer the Pokemon is, the more gems you need to trade in!

- The price for an Unown egg will drop to 75 gems after getting all Unown EggDexes

- You cannot obtain event Pokemon from the Gem Collector.

- You can only obtain pre-evolved Pokemon.

​

Remember that eggs obtained from the Gem Collector count towards your shiny chain!

2.2.1 Getting Eggs

The price for each egg depends on the Rarity of the wanted Pokemon

If you spend enough gems on these Eggs, you will unlock a quest for the new Galar Rumble Area.

You also save up for a discount that increases the more gems you spend.

2.2.2 Kalos Legendary Eggs

The Gem Collectors offers to trade Gems for Xerneas and Yveltal Eggs.

The gems needed depend on the user. One of 3 combinations is possible.

Merging Zygarde eggs

Merging Gems is a quest to obtain the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde in its different forms. In order to unlock this quest, you need to spend at least 500 gems of any type on regular gem trades with the collector.

The first egg you can merge is “Core”. To unlock the next egg, you have to merge the previous stage 3 times.

The order of unlocking is: Core -> Cell -> 10% -> 50% -> 100%

2.2.3 Gem Cauldron

Unlocked at Trainerlevel 7

Needs a one-time fee of 50,000 PD to repair

(+24 hours waiting) before use

The Gem Cauldron has many different recipes in which you can choose from. Some recipes are locked until you gain enough experience to unlock them. Experience is gained by boiling gems in the cauldron.

Each recipe shows an image of the item, and lists the required gems. Once you have the required amount of gems, click 'boil' to begin the game.

During the game, the image of the cauldron will appear with the required gems shown underneath. In the centre of the cauldron, a gem will appear. You must then click the matching gem underneath the cauldron. This process will be repeated until all gems have been used.

You are only given a certain amount of seconds to complete the minigame. If you don't succeed within the given time, you will get your gems back and have a 10-minute cooldown before you can try again.

If all the gems have been placed into the cauldron correctly, the cauldron will begin to boil and you must wait the certain time period given before claiming your prize. The waiting time can be cut in half with an Odd Incense. This item will be used automatically if you have one.

2.3 Rumble Areas

Access to rumbling is granted by having at least 1 Explorer Bag.

​

The first bag can be bought at the Item Shop under the Special Items tab.

​

The other 5 bags are obtained either by rumbling and/or completing your 1st and 2nd badge set.

​

The maximum number of Explorer Bags (and simultaneous missions) is 6.

Rumble Areas will gain EXP every time they are explored. If an area is fully explored, a new level of it will be unlocked.

As the level of an area increases, the rumbling result in that area will be better.

​

2.3.3 Legendary Missions

Special rumble missions can be unlocked upon owning a specific map. These special rumble mission maps can be found rarely in Mystery Boxes and each map will unlock a special area.

You can send your Pokemon out to explore these special areas; and it may take them days. However, each area can only be explored if the sent Pokemon fulfills a certain Type requirement. It is also recommended to send a Pokemon with a high level.
