January 8 - Welcome & Introductions

• 16:00: Tour of the land and facilities of Manantial de Tara
• 18:00: Welcome and introductions, course plan and logistics

January 9 - Foundations of Permaculture

• 10:00: Exploring design projects
• 12:00: History of Permaculture, Ethics and Principles
• 16:00: New approaches in Permaculture, and Integral Theory
• 18:00: Choosing design projects & forming work groups

January 10 - Earth Care

• 12:00: Soil, Cycles and Natural Successions
• 16:00: Learning from Grasslands, Waterscapes and Forests

January 11 - Optional day

• All day: Action-Learning Day at Manantial de Tara
• (mini-class in Spanish and group work on the farm with many local people
• Also: Time to explore the island, go to the beach or the forest, etc. and develop your design projects.

January 15 - Food Sovereignty

• 12:00: Making the most of what we have: thrifty strategies to produce, harvest and preserve more food
• 16:00: Bio-Technology: Compost for Heat and Biogas, Water Purification, Green Walls and Roofs, Compost Toilets

January 16 - Free day!

• All day: Free time to go to on a trip, to the beach, simply rest or do whatever you want

• El Carretón - the history of a sub-tropical Food Forest

• All day: Free time to go to on a trip, to the beach, simply rest or do whatever you want
• Also: Extra time to reflect on the course and develop your design projects
• Organized individually: Mentoring sessions & group work sessions on design projects

February 23 - EcoEconomy & Future Care + Individual Designs

• 12:30: Complementary Currencies: principles and examples & The Economic System and how to Hack it� Future Scenarios & Storytelling, Transitioning & Future Care
• All day: Individual Design Presentations + 1-on-1 Coaching
• Also: Time to complete the design projects

February 24 - Moving forward

• 10:00: Group Design Presentation
• 13:00: Certificates + Closing
• 14:00: Lunch (optional)
