A typical school day:

  • 8:25-8:40 am- classroom doors open to welcome children.
  • 8.40 am- registration followed by a carpet input. This then leads into ‘free flow’ both inside and outside. At this time children will then work in small focus groups.
  • 10:15am- fruit and story
  • 10:30am- outside choosing time
  • 10:45 - continue with ‘free flow’ and focus groups
  • 11:40am- phonics session
  • 12 noon- lunchtime
  • 1:15 pm- afternoon registration and carpet input. This then leads into a continuation of the mornings activities and free flow.
  • 2:40pm- tidy up and carpet session
  • 3:10pm- hometime- collect your child from the classroom door.

PE bag:

  • Please send to school, at the beginning of every term, a school PE bag with a change of clothes in. This should include a spare change of knickers/pants, trousers, shirt and socks.
  • This bag will stay at school and will hang on your child’s peg.
  • If your child has an accident at school, we will give them their spare change of clothes and send the dirty clothes home with you to wash. Please repack the PE bag and send it back to school the next day.
