Explanation-
This floorplan explicates the exhibition titled ‘attention to detail’ proposed to be presented in ACCA. The exhibition follows three artists Nick Cave, Asya Kozina and Liam Brandon Murray. These artists explore detail to a new level, by creating sculptures which free stand and is durable enough to wear. All three artists intertwine though themes of history and technical formality, creating cohesion through the different rooms. The entrance directly enters the wide red wall depicted on slide 5. You then turn right and walk through the side of the wall. Inside the room is painted in the same red including the rotating plinth centred in the middle of the room as well as the floors and ceilings. The second wall then leads to a white hallway with the second wall text printed on the left hand side, shown on slide 8. In room 2 the room will be completely white, with two white plinths centered in the middle. Hanging by invisible wire the paper dresses will be displayed free hanging. It then leads into the finial hallway painted floor to ceiling in a dark green, to the left will be the final wall text. This can all be seen on slide 11. Modeled on the black wall will be a black “runway” plinth which will have the two Liam brandon murray dresses on display being lit up by stage lights coming from the sides of the runway. In Front of the stage is a long red velvet couch. You then get directed to the exit

My exhibition will be presented at ACCA (Australian centre for contemporary art). Specifically using the Gallery 1 space.
roles
Invigilator: 1 invigilator in each room walking around the area. They will be used as information sources as well as an extra set of eyes to protect the work
technicians - help set up the exhibition, create dividing walls and set up wall texts.
Exhibition designer- helping design the space to create the right tones and colours, moods and aesthetics for my plinths, stands, didactic panels and walls.
Conservators- helping create the right lux levels and humidity to conserve the artworks as best as possible.
Entering wall text
The theme of this exhibition is “attention to detail”. Made to depict small and intricate designs in wearable art. The three artists showcased is Nick Cave, Asya Kozina and Liam Brandon Murray. All three specialise is spluture/wearable art.
Nick Cave
Nick Cave is an american sculpture, dancer, performance artists and professor who is known to explore sculptural forms through the scale of the body. Born in fulton, mississippi in 1959, Nick cave developed an assorted amount of identity issues after being the minority throughout his school life. He began doubting his reputation and abilities, Echoing this issue of identity and politics, Cave brought his emotions into the world of art, using recycled materials into sculptures and installations.

Nick Cave’s best-known work is the Soundsuits series, costumes that completely cover the individual’s body. They camouflage the wearer’s shape, enveloping and creating a second skin that hides gender, race, and class, which compelling the audience to watch without judgment.

I chose to display Nick Cave's work in this orangy-red room as i find it is a common colour throughout his work. It is also such a vivid colour, which reflects on his powerful standpoint reflected in his works. A plinth will be places in the center of the room with large white mannequins displaying the work.
The nick cave wall text is placed to be the first thing you see when entering the exhibition. Letting the audience learn and develop their understanding of the artist. When walking around the first room the didactic panels will be placed on top of the plinth. This describes what each artwork entails.

Conservation in the nick cave exhibition
In order to protect and conserve nick cave's soundsuits, barriers will be put in place to make sure visitor don't accidently knock or damage the artwork. This includes large plinths that individuals cannot go through, invigilators who will monitor the room making sure nobody has food or drinks in the exhibition, people are behaving appropriately around the artworks. There will also be sensors which will detect and sound an alarm anytime someone is within 20 cm of the work.
Asya Kozina
Asya Koshia, from Ukraine is an inspirational, contemporary artist whose artwork create modern versions of clothing and headpieces from the past. Inspired by the baroque era, Kozina and Kosin create fascinating and intricate sculptural pieces through paper designs. Their names recogniseable worldwide for their unique artworks. Starting as a series of miniature wigs created by Kozina the ideas grew through the pair as they brought through the creative process eventually landing themselves on runways and publicised photoshoots with big corporations. Her ideas behind the artworks she creates is to explore and preserve and display historial, traditional and artistic representations.

Paper Heraldry- Asya Kozina
Paper Heraldry- 120 cm x 90 cm x 50 cm
Paper Heraldry was commissioned by a German museum. After carefully studying the history of the city as well as the historical attributes of the German nobility of the 18th century, Asya and Dmitriy handcrafted this intricate paper wig, combining complex elements of architecture with floral ornaments, feathers and different symbols of power such as swords and reindeer antlers.

These paper sculptures were commissioned by a wallpaper brand. The idea behind creating paper versions of traditional garments was to highlight the historical link between paper and textiles and to show that paper is also capable of showcasing complexity and brightness.

I chose the light grey shade to fill the walls in the Asya Zozina portion of the exhibition as i find it compliments her soft, delicate approach to art. it also helps create a backdrop for the white artworks to stand out on. Two white plinths will stand next to each other in the center of the room to display the wire hanging clothes .

Liam Brandon Murray
Liam Brandon Murray is a UK sculptor and artist known for his “out there” wearable art pieces. Inspired heavily by religious iconography, circus performances and sets, steampunk aesthetics and even wedding dresses, Liam explores the shock value of dramatic and theatrical wearable sculptures. He often passionately talks about pushing for wearable art to be more recognised in the fine arts throughout his growth in his name and brand. Liam not only explores and creates fine arts sculptural arts, but also creates wearable and even washable street clothes that encapsulates the ideas of his sculptural pieces. Liam's initial inspiration to create these costumes came from the movie industry.

Angels of a different kind- Liam Brandon Murray
Angles of a different kind- 163 cm x 105cm
Liam brandon murray’s sculptural work, experiments with society's ideas of art. Angels of a different kind experiments with the imagery of religions, primarily of catholicism. This artwork was created to showcase at the tattoo show in Alexandra Palace, London.
Alien-Liam Brandon Murray
Alien- 90cm x 90cm
Alien depicts the graphic, gothic imagery of the human body. Liam uses a mix of different formulas he calls “a cauldron”, containing an interesting mix of materials, including liquid foam for stretch, latex, stretchy fibers, and stretchy paints, among other things. These materials help cultivate the inhuman aesthetic of alien.

Liam brandon Murray’s work is vivid, shocking and can sometimes feel disturbing. To match this vibe i have chosen to used this forest green as the wall colour. His work will be displayed on a long black plinth on the far wall, featuring the two dresses lit up by stage lights.

The Liam Brandon Murray wall text is placed to be the first thing you see when entering his portion of the exhibition. Letting the audience learn and develop their understanding of the artist. When walking around the first room the didactic panels will be placed adjacent to the runway place on the back wall of the exhibition. The didactic panels will be printed on long black stands matching the floor of the runway. This describes what each artwork entails.

Lighting and sounds
The lighting i have decided on is 70 lux level for the asya Kozina portion, 200 lux level for the Nick Cave portion. For liam brandon murrays portion the only lighting used will be the stage lights which are 300 lux levels.
Throughout the exhibition different music will be played for each artist.

For each room to not make the music clash the speakers will be attach to the bottom of each dress and the rooms will be divided with curtain doors.
