What is LiveSafe?

• A Free Safety App Customized for UVM
• Student Requested
• App Communities (Versions)
• Student, Employee, Visitor

Key Benefits to Students

• SafeWalk™ peer-to-peer virtual walk-along, available anywhere (not just at UVM) lets users reach destination safely
• Ability to report anonymously via the app
• Allows users ability to send a message for assistance if unable to talk
• Ability to attach pictures or videos with a report

Key Benefits to Students (Continued)

• Messages will get routed to the correct office versus needing to place a call for assistance
• Provides access to critical safety and emergency resources in one location anywhere you are (Mental Health, Bias/hate reporting, Title IX/Sexual Harassment/misconduct information, ADA Accessibility, reporting concern for a student, and more)
• Call for help or report from anywhere - not just a fixed blue light location; supports Res Halls, classrooms & labs, off-campus
