Born in South Africa, Jamy-Lee is a Senior Copywriter at NEXA and has been working in our team for over two years, delivering quality website copywriting, ad copy, blog writing, social media marketing and creative copy for various platforms and assets. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree specialising in three fields, namely English Literature, Linguistics and Psychology. She also has a Postgraduate Degree in Education, with experience teaching primary- and senior-grade students in Cape Town, South Africa and in Kuwait, Middle East. Previously, Jamy-Lee has worked as a Creative Content Writer, a Proofreader and an SEO Copywriter. Her knowledge of different markets stems from working for clients from South Africa, the UK, US, Middle East and beyond. She now draws on her extensive skill set to deliver quality copywriting to drive the success of clients spanning a host of sectors ranging from lifestyle to finance.

Luleth Makutu is a South African Author and Copywriter. She completed her matric in 2015 and followed her dream of becoming a writer. In 2016 she began her journey as a freelancer, writing for a few local newspapers, magazines, and websites. In 2018 she enrolled at the Tshwane University of Technology, one of the leading and largest Technikon universities in Africa, where she studied for a National Diploma in Language Practice and will graduate in 2023. Her academic journey with TUT encouraged her to produce her self-published book Love and Other Horror Stories. TUT opened doors of opportunity for her as a freelancer. She soon became a copywriter and has been a part of some government projects to create an online presence for small businesses. Currently she is a copywriter at NEXA.

Reef is a writer, editor, and book hoarder from South Africa. She joined NEXA in 2022 as a Copywriter for the Content Team. With over six years of experience in writing across multiple industries, Reef has worked in publishing, corporate, entertainment, and education, among others. If she isn’t writing for work, she’s writing her Master's thesis in English Literature, which she uses as an excuse to routinely purchase armfuls of books from secondhand shops.
