| Blood Reading/Writing: We are continuing to focus on our ELA review skills, with a focus on Narrative and Literaly Analysis writing types. (Last week we covered research simulation). In class we will practice reading various writing prompts and identifying the correct writing type needed.
LEAP Vocab Quiz #2 (14-25) = Thurs, 4/23 (study guide in ELA folder, Blooket in Google Classroom) Analyzing & Identifying Writing prompt Test- Friday 4/24 ALL Flocabularies & CommonLits = Due 5/1 (tracker in ELA folder) Ryland Reading/Writing: We’re continuing to review 5th grade ELA skills to prepare for testing. This week we will be reviewing writing types (informative & narrative) and context clues using LEAP like material. This week's quiz will be on Friday, 4/24. LEAP Vocab Quiz #2 (14-25) = Thurs, 4/23 (study guide in ELA folder, Blooket in Google Classroom) ALL Flocabularies & CommonLits = Due 4/24 (tracker in ELA folder) HOMEWORK: Bellringer #32 — Due 4/24 (Counts as a minor grade each nine weeks.) |

Students all start out with a 100%, if they do not complete their required amount of lessons (2 or 3) each week, they lose 5 pts from their grade. I-ready is a Major Grade. WILL CHECK FOR ACCURACY. i-Ready: I-ready is taken for a grade every week. Q4 has Started! | We have officially completed all of our units for the year! This week, we will begin reviewing each civilization in preparation for the leap test. Students will receive a GRAPES organizer that we will work on together in class. Please have your child review these organizers at home, as we will have a review test on Friday, April 24th. |
