Spring LCS Review

• Report was due on April 30, 2022
• PSUs with open cases prior to May 1 were granted extension
• PowerSchool Support has ~60 tickets under review
• Common problems include:
• Missing staff, funding, and FTEs
• Teacher counts on K-3 Average Reports
• K-8 numbers off (Likely a code issue)
• Waiver requests ARE being compared with previous requests

• HQ no longer exists
• IOF has been pulled internally while awaiting PS report
• Awaiting final conversation with the business owner
• (We aren’t sure about logic around multi-grade combo courses)
• Reminder that this is determining whether CLASS is I/O Field, not whether the TEACHER is qualified.

EOY Process Plan

​

• NEW PROPOSAL- All users will be locked out at 5pm on June 29
• Pre-EOY processing will take place between 5pm, June 29 - 6am, July 1
• All State Reports with a due date of June 30 will be modified to be due on June 29 (PS will change this via script)
• Only EOY Contacts will gain access on the morning of July 1
• PowerSchool to return to service by July 6

• EOY Contacts must be up to date no later than June 1
• If contacts change after June 1, contact Justin
• New Schools must be added to EDDIE by July 11
• Start Running EPV (EOY Pre Validation) Reports now
• Students should only be pre-registered if they are NOT

active in any other PSU

• Calendar Setup should already be complete
