Frontline Foods
Starting a Chapter
Version: 2020-04-24
Medical and other frontline professionals are working 16 hours a day or more, with no time at home to make meals and limited access to quick nutritional options to fuel the work they are doing to keep us all safe.
At the same time, the restaurant industry (which employs 15.6 million workers nationwide) has been devastated by shelter-in-place orders forcing them to suddenly shut down.
Fuel the fight against COVID-19
Who we are
Our background:
Frontline Foods is a grassroots effort that started in San Francisco, sprung out of Shelter-in-Place orders
Our mission:
We raise funds from the community to pay local restaurants to make and deliver meals to the frontline workers and impacted communities
Our organization:
We joined World Central Kitchen — an international nonprofit relief program led by chef José Andrés — to scale the reach of our program and enable all donations to be 100% tax deductible

At Frontline Foods, we are surrounded by people who inspire us with their energy, integrity, and creativity; people who bring out the best in us and our community. Remember that you can still participate in the FLF community without becoming a Chapter Partner!
