Identify the problem

14 of 33

When identifying the problem think of the following:

  • Clearly identify the problem.

  • Identify the problem in terms of a specific human issue that you want to focus on. (Right and not needed).

  • Think about the right that has been violated or denied access.
  • Narrow focus and choose a point to get started.

  • Use six questions to formulate your problem
  •   (Who, what, how, when, where to why).

  • Ask «Why?» 5 times to get to the root of the problem.

Create a Vision

16 of 33

A vision helps us to:

  • Develop a strategy in the ultimate most efficient way.

  • Determine the tactics to achieve the goal.

  • Work with others who have the same vision of ours.

  • Flexibility.

  • Know the exact moment of when the goal was achieved.

“SMART” Goal: ________________________________________________________

Tactical aim: Prevention or Intervention or Restorative or Promotion

Target group: _________________________________________________________

Tactic selected: _______________________________________________________

What is the action or task?

How will you implement this action?

What resources are needed? (human, economic, material)

What steps are needed?

When will it happen?

Who is responsible?

What do you HAVE?

What do you NEED?
