Lesson Objectives

• Students will be introduced to mixed-media artwork.
• Students will create a composition of 3 different�cactus drawings.
• Students will use the understanding of value, color,�and perspective to create this drawing.

Materials Needed:

• Pencil with eraser

​

• 9” x 12” white drawing paper. (printer paper will work)�
• Colored pencils (crayons can be used)�
• Marker (black colored pencil or crayon can be �substituted)
• Cactus reference folder
