Priority 2: Improve pupil’s understanding and application of each stage of the writing process to enhance their overall writing proficiency. |
Priority 3: Further develop the progress and attainment of reading in all attainment groups, ensure accelerated progress of identified vulnerable children and promote reading for pleasure across the school. |
Priority 4: Ensure all curriculum areas have the same focus on standards as English and Maths and the curriculum intent and implementation are embedded across the school so that learning is of a consistently high quality in all wider curriculum subject areas. |
Priority 5: Further develop emotional literacy and regulation in overcoming setbacks and achieving goals. |
Ulverley School will continue to prioritise areas outside the remit of this SIP. Behaviour, Attendance and Safeguarding, along with Mental Health, Wellbeing and Equality and Diversity form a golden thread woven into the fabric of the organisation, enacted through the school’s goals, values and vision. These will always remain as priority areas for the school. |
