Students will write an informative/explanatory essay which will be shared orally with small groups/whole class (format to be determined by teacher- i.e., Google presentation, traditional essay, movenote, etc.) which reflects their understanding of the similarities and differences between the immigration experiences of different groups in the past.

The essay should:

Examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
