TCM Priorities, Issues, and Help

(Short & Long Term)

Priorities

Recruting: Short: 1) Veteran’s groups, 2) Hammerspace / FabLab visits in KC area, 3) Career Centers

Long:1) Formal internship program, 2) Collaborator Badge program

Product Development: 1) Get Product Development meetings on track, 2) Ironworker plan

Issues

  • ED Priority #2: University Tours should take place in October / November -- students have exams and break in December / January -- a tour will not be cost effective and will reach a smaller audience during this time
  • Military organizations -- Government shut down closed all military volunteer offices, seemingly, as they are not answering their phone; tabling touchpoint until govt is back to work

Help

  • Support during meetings: Set agenda and stick to it, Show up on time ready to get started; Table discussions that don’t require everyone’s attention for sidebar discussions; Changes to the plan should be discussed by the staff before presented to volunteers
  • Need an Ironworker plan
