Sam-Pee-Nong, Chanthaburi Province. Khao Chamao national park and/or Khao Sip Ha Chan National Park

The Plan (it’s flexible because we depend on the elephants)

Depart from Sukhumvit 55, Thong Lo. Soi 18, meet in front of Max Valu shop. (Map here)

Toilet break

Go to elephant destination. Meet with locals, homemade lunch, learn about beehive fence, elephant viewing, etc. This has to be flexible because it totally depends on the elephants

18:00

Depart for Kaeng Thara Resort.

19:00

Order own food (client pays). Menu is cheap.

Day 2

7:00

Wake up, order breakfast (client pays). Menu is cheap.

8:00

Go to national park

9:00

Hike (maybe swim)

12:00

Return to Bangkok. Can decide together where to have lunch.

NOTE:

We can no longer camp in the park because the gate closes at 4pm and we will be looking at elephants then.

Therefore we will stay in a resort.

Rooms are

400 - 700 baht

Waste Challenge

  • Remember this is a conservation trip. We are here to help the planet, not pollute it.
  • Reduce waste as much as possible. Try to have NOTHING disposable. Use reusable containers where possible.
  • We try not use trash bins for the whole trip. Any waste you create should stay with you until you go home.
