ABSTRACT

  • The latest trend in the technologies related to wireless communication has led to the emergence of several engineering designs for human requirements.
  • Commands are sent to street lights during night.
  • Control street lights using mobile by sending data through SMS .
  • It provides cost effective, reliable to the user to access.

INTRODUCTION

  • In The Present Days Automated Systems Have Less Manual Operations ,High Flexibility.
  • Our Project Is To Control The Switching Of Street Lights Automatically.
  • Pir’s Sensor Which Detects The Vehicle With The Micro Controller Are Used.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

  • An embedded system is developed to control the street lights automatically.
  • As of we know that according to seasons sunset varies, during winter sunsets very earlier and during summer its vice versa,
  • We control lights either switching ON or OFF using GSM modem
  • The brightness of the lights will change according to the vehicle moment by using PWM concept.

POWER SUPPLY:-

  • We require 5v for microcontroller and 12v for GSM to operate.
  • To get required voltage step down transformer, rectifiers and filtering circuits are used

POWER SUPPLY

  • All digital circuits require regulated power supply. In this article we are going to learn how to get a regulated positive supply from the mains supply.

PASSIVE INFRARED SENSOR (PIR SENSOR)

  • passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view.
  • We use PIR-sensor to detect the movement of vehicles

GSM:-

  • GSM stands for Global System

for Mobile Communication.

  • It is a digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services.
  • GSM is the most widely accepted standard in telecommunications and it is implemented globally.

RELAY

  • A relay is an electrical switch that opens and closes under the control of another electrical circuit.
  • In the original form, the switch is operated by an electromagnet to open or close one or many sets of contacts.

LCD:

  • LCD is used to display the output.
  • We use16x2 LCD
  • It is a 16 pin IC.
  • It display’s only 32-characters.
