LifeDAO Product Roadmap

LifeDAO will endeavor to drive utility for NFT holders (i.e., LifeDAO members) by building a foundation of sustainable income streams and forging partnerships with other projects in the community that will enable LifeDAO to consistently deliver high value utility for its members.

The enclosed roadmap is indicative in nature and will continue to evolve over time. The final release or proposal of the opportunities and projects outlined herein may materially differ from what is presently being contemplated, or may not be released at all. The LifeDAO Council will continue to evaluate opportunities that exist in the market and may re-prioritize or pivot towards new projects that the LifeDAO Council believes will drive maximum value towards LifeDAO and its members.

Bridgeworld Integrations

Per the Bridgeworld team, direct integration with Bridgeworld is on hold until Life successfully begins having an impact on the wider Treasure economy. However, enclosed are a few potential integration ideas that have been fleshed out with TreasureDAO Council members as viable.

Harvester Wars Timeline: Short Term

Utilize a portion of the LifeDAO treasury to outfit a Harvester setup to compete in the Bridgeworld Harvester Wars.

Competitive Advantage:

• LifeDAO is uniquely positioned to immediately become a Tier 1 player in the Harvester wars due to its low overhead and highly liquid asset base.

Value Propositions

• Bridgeworld: Increased competition to siphon market share of emissions from other large players, increased buy pressure on crafting items/legion/treasures.
• LifeDAO: Make available a competitive Harvester outfit for the members of the DAO at a low cost. Collect revenue via emissions from staked Treasury magic as well as fees from other users seeking access to a maximized Harvester setup.

Cross-Ecosystem Harvester Extractors Timeline: Medium Term

Imbued Souls, through cross-ecosystem collaborations, can craft an Extractor for use in Bridgeworld.

• Potential Crafting Method: Crafting station exists within the Life ecosystem, to craft an extractor costs Magic (fee to DAO) as well as assets from across the Treasure ecosystem (e.g., Smol Treasures from Smolverse, Treasures from Bridgeworld, Collectibles from Realm).

• Souls have a cooldown before they can be used to craft another extractor

Value Propositions:

• Treasure: Functions as an ecosystem-wide asset sink, limiting asset inflation across multiple projects

• Life: Create demand for Seeds/Souls, collect revenue for the DAO via magic fees.

Life Potion Market Timeline: Medium Term

Cross-ecosystem potion vendor that sells potions consumable by Legions that provides temporary utility for use in Bridgeworld, Life, and other partner ecosystems.

• Skill Reset Potion
• Potion of Swiftness
• Potion of Recovery
• Potion of Gluttony

• Potions can be specific potions or items of partner ecosystems as well.
• Cost of potions could be partner ecosystem assets (e.g., EoS/Prisms) and a nominal amount of magic (paid to the DAO).

DeFi Applications

Magic/USDC LP Timeline: Short Term

Establish and seed a Magic/USDC LP to expand Magic liquidity and improve stability to the price of Magic while reducing the beta coefficient of Magic against Eth.

• Expand the liquidity of Magic and reduce USDC<->Magic trading fees on Arbitrum by optimizing the use of AMM/defi infrastructure that is larger and more efficient for users.
• Provide alternate revenue source into the Treasure ecosystem by partnering with and influencing emissions from other protocols to drive non-magic denominated yields into magic. We expect that this may provide a comparable yield for protocol owned liquidity without any magic emissions required from Treasure.

Value Proposition

• Treasure Ecosystem: Reduce trading fees between Magic and USDC (currently two trades/twice the fees required for most stablecoin trades), and potentially improve volatility of the USD price of Magic by introducing a stablecoin trading pair.
• Life: Collect LP trading fees for seeding Magic/USDC LP, as well as expanding the scope of non-magic based emissions to drive external revenue into magic. Drive utility to Life holders by enabling exclusive opportunities to maximize emissions/yield if valued by LifeDAO.
• Use our experience in defi to optimize more AMMs for improved liquidity, flexibility, reduced transaction fees, and enable a sustainable source of revenue for the project to fund the gaming experiences we envision for Life.

NFT LP & Lending Timeline: Medium Term

Integrate NFT LP and Lending liquidity on L2 Arbitrum by partnering with existing infrastructure and/or building a dedicated protocol to support the ecosystem at scale.

• Create a mechanism for tokenizing NFTs and seeding initial liquidity for Life and other ecosystem NFT projects.
• Provide instant liquidity for NFTs and allow users the flexibility to earn yield, swap NFTs, buy and sell fractionalized NFTs, and borrow against NFTs to temporarily use funds elsewhere in the ecosystem without selling their NFTs.

Value Proposition

• Treasure ecosystem: Instantaneous liquidity for relatively illiquid NFTs, more floor price stability for collections. Users have more flexibility in how they use their NFTs throughout the ecosystem with options to earn yield, collateralize to fund seasons or other temporary game play, swap one NFT for another instantly, or fractionalize NFT ownership.
• Incentivize more teams to adopt magic as their base currency, tokenizing their NFT as the source of liquidity rather than building non-magic denominated tokens that have risky/poor tokenomics.
• Life: Establish collaborative partnerships by seeding initial LP liquidity using NFTs provided by a project that LifeDAO pairs by providing Magic or Eth. LifeDAO can also selectively direct Magic emissions to bootstrap more liquidity as needed.
• Sustainable revenue source for LifeDAO through LP fees and/or protocol revenue, utility benefits for Life NFT holders, and a stronger foundation to build meaningful gaming experiences for the Life collection.

Ecosystem Partnership: Base Character Primitives

Base Character Primitives Timeline: Medium Term

Life assets (Imbued Souls) in particular will function as base character primitives in the Treasure-verse. This will allow for Imbued Souls to be used across different games/projects in the Treasure Ecosystem as either playable characters or souls that amplify the abilities of playable characters in partnering cartridges.

*Note: Partners are strongly encouraged to respect the rarity and traits of Imbued Souls when looking at Integration of Life NFTs into their games.

Value Proposition

• Life: Creates utility for Imbued Souls in multiple games across the Treasure Ecosystem.
• Where possible, LifeDAO will encourage partner projects to respect Imbued Soul rarities, asking them to provide advanced benefits to rarer Imbued Souls where possible and feasible.
• Life: Potential revenue sharing with these games depending on the level of integration and benefits provided by LifeDAO to partners.
• LifeDAO Council will craft proposals and negotiate on behalf of the LifeDAO community but the community will vote on these proposals in finalising partnership integration (if Treasury resources are needed).

Base Character Primitives: Proposals Timeline: Medium Term

Knights Of The Ether

• Expressed interest at integrating Life NFTs into their core game (Underdark) as an expansion deck.
• Alternative integrations will look at how skill reset potions can be used as well as Imbued Souls as an amplification mechanism for knights.

Realm

• Expressed interest at either full or partial integration of Life NFTs into their game as adventurers.
• Council is also in active discussions with the Realm team on alternative forms of integration.

Arcane

• Expressed interest in having Life NFTs in their game as part of the “Companions” mechanic.

LifeDAO Game Applications

Discord PVP Game Timeline: Short Term

• Life discord game that allows for players to use their Imbued Souls to engage in PVP battles in the LifeDAO Discord. Players must require an Imbued Soul NFT to be able to play this game.
• In PVP, players will be able to use their imbued souls to battle other players for glory. Topping the leaderboards will allow for players to earn rewards such as WL spots, $MAGIC and also NFTs.
• Cure (Origins team) created a framework for the game, team has a verbal commitment from a developer to finish the development of the game.
• In building out the discord game, the Council will respect the rarity and traits of Imbued Soul where possible.

Value Proposition

• Life: Allows for players to utilise their Imbued Souls in the near term to earn rewards ($MAGIC, NFTs, WLs) through competitive play.

Monster Studio Project Timeline: Medium / Long Term

The Monster Studio Project is a simple game that requires the community to create World Bosses / Monsters in which Imbued Souls can team up to battle. Participation in the battle will result in participants standing a chance to win rewards that could be in the form of $MAGIC, NFTs and more. �

• Details on how the Monster Studio Project will look is still a work in progress and we would seek to tie it into the lore and world building.

Life Reborn: Legends of Phanes Timeline: Very Long Term

• At a high level, the LifeDAO Council is aligned on driving development of an immersive collectible card game where players create strategic card decks for PvP and PvE battle, using Life IP at the core, and integrating treasure ecosystem NFTs, including Bridgeworld, Smols, and others.�
• Delivery of this vision is expected to a be multi-year process and is contingent on the community’s support and approval on our short/medium term plans to create products that will sustain Life’s ongoing operations and development in parallel to delivering meaningful partnerships, collaborations, and initial gaming experiences.�
• To position Life for success we must build a financially viable foundation with diverse revenue streams that will enable a path for Life to fund game development. While not the original MMORPG plan that Life was birthed on, we believe this is an opportunity course correct with a realistic strategy to achieve a AAA gaming experience for players.

LifeDAO Lore & World Building

Rebranding & Lore Timeline: Medium Term

Complete Rebrand inclusive of new website, name, logo, etc to align with the new direction of Life.

• 16/32 bit branding. New and memorable logo. Website to serve as the storefront of the project. Mission statement, core values and much more.
• Alongside the rebranding, crafting a new narrative and lore based on the new direction of Life.
• Upgrading the images of current imbued souls with art of lifeforms in Gen 0 OR a V2. Adding of these visual traits into the metadata will be considered in the longer term.
• World events that users can partake in and create an origin story for their imbued soul.

Value Proposition

• Life: Creates a strong brand for Life which will be essential for bringing in not just new users but also partners into the project. Furthermore, building a new narrative and story that is aligned with the direction of the project and its future progress.
