Spring Flowers

Winter has gone, and spring has arrived!

​

Everywhere I look, flowers are blooming, sharing their beauty, and spreading joy.

​

​

Salient Features: Flowers have long stems, leaves, and petals.

Pots fill the garden, overflowing with soft, fresh soil shoveled straight from a bag

I see purple pansies, like little happy faces. Their bright colors a reminder of sunny days to come.

Look! Yellow tulips are stretching up toward the sky. Their bright, golden petals fill the air with feelings of hope and cheer.

I see pink lilies unfolding with grace, their soft petals spreading messages of love and kindness for all.

And a single red rose stands tall. Its petals soft as velvet, its fragrance sweet. The rose whispers of steadfast courage, reminding us that beauty comes in many forms, and each bloom can be the brightest star in the garden.

When the flowers have bloomed, we pick them, and I gather them carefully, one by one…a tulip, a lily, a rose…and place them gently in a vase. Their stems soak up the water. Their petals fill the room with the sweet smells of spring. Bringing the beauty of the garden inside.
