How does NIMB pay for SoCal trip?

  • The trip cost to NIMB is $1000/student

  • This is a great deal! The retail cost of the trip is much higher!

Under current California law….

  • We can ask for payments in the form of “contributions” or “donations” but we cannot make paying a requirement
  • If we don’t raise enough funds to send everyone, the trip will be cancelled.
  • We will not ask families to request scholarships. All students are welcome regardless of ability to pay.

Fundraising for Disney

  • Fundraising must be higher than in 2025-26 school year to offset costs.

  • October 2: Signed letter of Intent
  • October 13: NIMB board reviews letters of intent and budget; decides if trip is a go!!
  • October 23: Full $1050 trip cost or installment #1 $550 due
  • November 20: $300 payment installment #2
  • January 22: $250 payment installment #3
  • March 31-April 3: Our Trip!

  • Plan to make your tax-deductible trip donation and ask your employer to match!

  • Talk to your NIMB friends to encourage them to participate!
  • Consider purchasing trip insurance�IMPORTANT: For the CFAR travel protection to be valid and in force, it must be purchased within 14 days of your initial trip deposit date to your school. CFAR travel protection is purchased INDIVIDUALLY by parents, and is SEPARATE from the individual cost of the trip.
