Notable Achievements

  • Restructuring of Science
    • At the middle school level curriculum modified: combination of instruction, labs, and IXL has demonstrated successful in improving test scores
    • At the high school level added support services by implementing Biology proficiency instruction at the freshmen level. Introducing general sciences to support science foundational skills in preparation for NJSLA
  • ELA
    • Majority of the students across the district have demonstrated continued excellence in English Language Arts (ELA). Our district’s ELA scores remain exceptionally high, to the point where they do not necessarily indicate significant growth year-over-year but rather reflect our ability to consistently maintain excellence.
  • Math
    • 16% increase in Proficiency is due to a new plan to provide additional supports at the entry level 9th grade so that students are better prepared with the foundational skills that will support growth throughout high school.
