  • There are 61 NHIF Claiming Public health Facilities within the county
  • All NHIF claiming facilities report in JICA SAMACH NHIF online reporting tool by every 5th day of the Month
  • Recently, South Ngariama dispensary was accredited to work with NHIF

CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATIONS

Conclusion

  • Generally, good performance in all sub counties in terms of the claiming rate
  • However, there is still a room for improvement since none of the subcounty is performing at 100%
  • Continuous improvement evidenced by increased claiming rate across the reporting months

Recommendation

  • Share best practices to improve performance in poor performing Sub counties
  • Need to Compare Amount Claimed vs Amount reimbursed in every Subcounty
  • Regular Performance review for evidence based decision making
