Locked Extraction

Lock extracted questions to source question

Use Case

As a survey programmer, I want changes made to the answer options in the source question to reflect in the extracted question, so that I don’t have to make the same changes in multiple extracted question.

Solution

We will provide an option to lock the extracted question to the source question while setting up extraction logic.

If this option is enabled while setting up logic, the extraction question will be locked to the source question.

Any changes made to the answer options in the source question will be reflected in the extracted question.

Locked answer options

Answer options are not editable in the

Extracted question. Following features will be disabled:

1. Rich Content Editor
2. Dynamic Comment Box
3. Add Heading
4. Assign Group
5. Default Selected
6. Delete
7. Reorder
8. Bulk Edit

Locked rows in Matrix Question

Edits made to answer options is reflected in the extracted question

Reordering changes in the source question are reflected in the extracted question

Answer option deleted from source question is also deleted from the extracted question

You can add Column, Other and N/A option in the extracted question. No other answer option can be added.
