The first step is to visit https://iusd.org/about/iusd-enrollment/enroll-irvine-usd.

Please note: If a student previously attended a school within IUSD and is returning, you do NOT need to complete the Aeries Internet Registration. (This includes ECLC)

Required documents for enrollment

2025-2026 Residency Affidavit Form on the Informed K-12 website

❏ Two proof of residency documents

One of the following:

  • Mortgage contract, lease, or payment receipts (must include signature page);
  • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts (must include first page and signature page);

AND One of the following:

  • Property tax payment receipts;
  • Current utility service contract, statement, or payment receipts (Gas, Electric, Water, Trash/Sewage dated within the last 45 days);
  • Pay Stub (both name and residence address must appear on payroll document);
  • Voter registration;
  • Correspondence from a government agency (such as DMV, IRS, Social Services, etc);
  • State issued identification with residence property address listed;
  • Credit card bill;
  • Declaration of Residency Affidavit; or
  • University of California, Irvine (UCI) Housing; an official UCI document asserting the person resides in student housing, which usually covers gas and electric

Oral health assessment (Due by May 31st of your child’s first school year)

Please make sure to have all of the required documents converted to digital format (PDF or take a clear legible photo)

  • Academic transcript or report card from your previous school. Prior school records will be requested by the school site.

  • Student IEP/504 documents

  • ELPAC/CELDT language test documentation

Click the “Aeries Internet Registration” to get started.

Once you have all the required documents, you can start completing the Online Enrollment.

Click “Enroll A New Student” Button

Make sure to select the correct enrollment year

It will show you a review of the documents that are required

You will be prompted to create an account

Agree to the Terms of Service and click “Next” (blue box)

Next, you will start filling out your student’s information

Fill out your address information

After putting in your address, the system will automatically tell you your home school

It will then prompt you to check your email so that you can “verify” your account.

You will receive an email like this one. Click the link to activate your account.

Now you will be able to continue with your online enrollment.

Click the Resume button to begin your online enrollment.

Restraining orders are important information that a school needs to know. If you have someone that is restrained, please select the “Yes, an individual is restrained by court decree” and enter that person’s information. You will need to provide a copy of the documents to keep in the student’s file. If you do not have a restrained individual, please select the “No” option.

Enter your student’s physician information

Fill out your emergency contacts. NOTE: This should be someone other than parents.

Enter any health conditions your student has. This will be helpful for the Health Office staff to know in case your child visits the Health office during school hours.

Enter your student’s previous school information. You can list up to four school’s they have attended in the past. If they have not attended any school previously, you can skip this section.

Download and complete the documents listed. You will uploaded these a few steps later (along with the rest of the required documents).

This is information for those students that have Medical exemptions for immunizations.

Answer each of these Authorization questions. This will allow the health office staff to know what they can administer to your child if they come into the Health Office. This also informs the school on whether your student can attend field trips and/or can ride in District owned/leased vehicles (i.e. buses).

Upload the required documents in the appropriate sections. �*Having missing documents might delay your enrollment.*

Answer each of the supplemental questions. These will help us get more information about your student and the type of support they will need at school.

Please answer “Yes” if at least one parent/guardian is an ACTIVE member of the United States Armed Forces.

The confirmation page will allow you to review the information you submitted. If there are any errors you can go in and change them now. Once you confirm everything is correct, you will click “finish and submit”.

Once submitted, the home school will be able to see your online enrollment. Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive a response from your Home School. Office staff will be reaching out in the order that the online enrollment was received.

Please be advised, your enrollment is not complete yet.

The Office Assistant will be emailing you to confirm they have received your online enrollment, to request additional documents (if applicable), and to provide you with the site specific documents still needed.

Once those documents have been emailed back to the Office Assistant, you will receive confirmation that the enrollment is complete.
