Prayer of the Week
A Prayer for Mothers
Dear Blessed Mother Mary,
help my mom to be a good mother.
Give her peace and wisdom,
strength and courage,
grace and happiness.
Be nearby when she needs help.
Keep her close to your Son, Jesus.
Help me to always show my mom
how very much I love her.
Amen.

Visualizing Activity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k7CaB2P290 Jane could not believe her eyes. All these gifts were for her! She had never seen so many packages in her life! Have your child read the sentence once or twice. Then have your child discuss the mental images created by the sentences. If possible, have other family members describe how they visualize the sentences. People will likely differ in their descriptions of the scene. For instance, some may picture a small child surrounded by stacks of gifts. Others may imagine an older girl in front of a table piled with presents. There is no single correct answer, and those three simple sentences, though not particularly rich in detail, do offer enough information for the reader or listener to begin to form a mental picture.
