LEADING SDG 4 -�EDUCATION 2030

Education is a human right and a force for sustainable development and peace. Today, more than 262 million children and youth are out of school. Six out of ten are not acquiring basic literacy and numeracy after several years in school. 750 million adults are illiterate, fueling poverty and marginalization. Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) of the 2030 Agenda which aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030.

not only that "TUROtorial" project is not just about free teaching or tutoring kids, it is also about giving them support and some of their needs like school supplies. We give out the school supplies to motivate the children and show them the importance of getting a good education.

  • Who is our beneficiaries: Kids under the modular learning system and no read no write or out of school youths.
  • Number of beneficiaries: 50 and expanding
  • Location of the programs: House to house, Specifically: Pura Tarlac, and Gerona Tarlac
  • Amount of Expenses: 489 pesos
  • What's the benefit: teaching and motivating kids with new knowledge and some materials that would benefit them in their study and future.
  • Target Result: To see them excel with the knowledge and motivation that we give to them.

EVERYONE IS AFFECTED BY GENDER INEQUALITY – WOMEN, MEN, TRANS AND GENDER DIVERSE PEOPLE PF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS. IT IS NOT ONLY A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT, BUT A NECESSARY FOUNDATION FOR A PEACEFUL, PROSPEROUS AND SUSTAINABLE WORLD.

It has nine (9) targets and fourteen (14) indicators.

SDG 5 is focused on pursuing the main goal of real and sustained gender equality in all aspects of women and girls’ lives which includes (1) ending gender disparities, (2) eliminating violence against women and girls’ lives, (3) eliminating early and forced marriage, (4) securing equal participation and opportunities for leadership, and (5) universal access to sexual and reproductive rights.

Prioritizing gender equality is one of the cross cutting concerns in the 2030 Agenda. Women’s empowerment and gender equality integral to all dimensions of inclusive development.

  • Location of the programs: Manaquem, Camiling, Tarlac ; Barangay Ungot, Tarlac City, Tarlac ; Pagasa, Tibag, Tarlac City ; Poblacion Sur, Mayantoc, Tarlac
  • Amount of Expenses: 1000
  • Whats the benefit: Participants were given sanitary products and some won cash load for participating. They gained knowledge on the severity of the lack of clean water.
