THE WORLD WE LIVE IN

  • Although the global number of newborns deaths declined from 5 million in 1990 to 2 million in 2021, children face the greatest risk of death in their first 28 days

  • Children who die within the first 28 days of birth suffer from conditions and diseases associated with lack of quality care at birth or skilled care and treatment immediately after birth and in the first days of life.

  • Globally 2.4 million children died in the first month of life in 2021. There are approximately 6700 newborn deaths every day, amounting to 47% of all child deaths under the age of 5-years, up from 40% in 1990.

  • WHO is working with ministries of health and partners to: 1) strengthen and invest in care, particularly around the time of birth and the first week of life as most newborns are dying in this time period

PROBLEM SOLVING

1. PROBLEM TO SOLVE

A Remote health monitoring system is an extension of a hospital medical system where a baby’s vital body state can be monitored remotely. Traditionally the detection systems were only found in hospitals and were characterized by huge and complex circuitry which required high power consumption. Continuous advances in the semiconductor technology industry have led to sensors and microcontrollers that are smaller in size, faster in operation, low in power consumption, and affordable in cost. This has further seen development in the remote monitoring of vital life signs of babies, children upto 6 years.

2. People Affected without care

Top 5 countries with the highest number (thousands) of newborn deaths. India(522), Nigeria(370), Pakistan(295), Ethiopia(123), China(97)

Repercussions of this problem?

  1. Problem worth-solving

If this is implemented in healthcare organizations. The development of wearable electronics and communication technologies has intensified the potential use of wearable technology in healthcare purposes. As infants are vulnerable to sleeping conditions, effective health monitoring using wearable technology can detect unexpected fall of respiratory rate, heart rate, and oxygen level and alleviate parents’ anxiety by notifying sudden critical situations. And gps locator to find the babies if missed, notify the parents for vaccination purpose and monitoring the babies health

  1. What if the problem is not solved

Children who die within the first 28 days of birth suffer from conditions and diseases associated with lack of quality care at or immediately after birth and in the first days of life.If this not solved there will be (30-40) deaths per 1000 live birth. Approximately 2 millions babies are dying globally with lack of care.

SOLUTION

Design a Remote Baby Health Monitoring System (RBHMS) which has a heartbeat detection system, temperature detection system, toxic gas detection system, gps monitoring, and SPO2 detection system. A doctor or health specialist can use the system to monitor remotely all vital health parameters of the baby or person of interest. An attempt at designing a remote healthcare system made with locally available components.

PROFIT OF THIS PROBLEM

    • The cost of building this product will take up to 4000 rs. So we can sell the product up to 5000 RS.so we can make 1k profit with one product. By selling 10,000 products within a year. We can make a profit of up to 10,000,000rs. So we can increase the growth of the product in market cap and shares overall and upgradation the product with next-gen from the queries of the users. so within three to five years, we can make market sales of up to 50k- 1L products within five years approximately. So we can make approximately 10-30Crores with five years approximately..

How far have you come?

  • As per now we have developed a prototype for the baby monitoring system. with some sensors we are developed this project. It was connected to a cloud for retrieving the data to an applications for better user experience
  • Our technical team is working to enhance the product with nanotechnology and make them reduce the radiation levels of the product. Our team is working on finding the best nanotechnology expertise for our Business Plan.
  • Our core team is trying to bring it to the market with cost-efficient and the software team is building software with the cloud to connect it with the IoT kit.

The competition

    • In this competitive world, this product is to decrease the price for this product with the use of micro-controllers. we can make small wearable devices or a tag and making them cost-efficient is reliable for the user for the usage of this product. Making could computing devices which eases the doctors or the hospital of the monitoring system 24/7 within the phone or laptop anywhere in the location. so we can make user-friendly devices for the patient and save patients who have critical health conditions. The existing system presents a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for monitoring babies’ physiological conditions continuously using Zigbee.

DRAWBACKS of the existing system

• Zigbee protocol needs separate networking infrastructure

• Implementation cost is high

• It didn't have any online storage feature

• Data transmission range is short

with my product, we can overcome these issues which are drawbacks in the existing system

OUR CUSTOMERS

  • Our Customers are hospitals, babies, old-aged people, and heart patients... These wearables can be used for babies to monitor their physical health. This can help the parents or hospitals to save the child, and also heart patients who are at risk can use this wearable to monitor 24/7 their health. so If they have a heart attack the device can send the details to the hospital and nearby relatives or notification in the app. So we can save a life, Our targeted audience is babies, who have critical body situations, heart patients, Home monitoring system for patient. So user who have critical health conditions and babies monitoring can use this wearables. so This above user can pay for it, To their betterment of health

GO TO MARKET

    • The product first we are planning to make this first-use hospital purpose and market the product to patients who really want this product. And then making clinical trials with the patient and showing them the importance of the product and collaborating with the hospital to commercialize it for the patient and making them remember the brand name and making the product very attractive with colors and designs and making them buy and want to create awareness of the product. And licensing the product with international standards and making the product with low radiations which couldn't affect the skin can be our main motives for building this product. Making production of the product and enhancing the product with the customer's feedback. Marketing the product with ads in hospitals or in the general waiting rooms of the patients to attract them to the product. Distribution of the product main key of marketing strategy with all peoples want to use these benefits. so we can introduce EMI's or credit card purchase in our app or website and delivering the product with technical team to clearly explain about the product. So we can achieve GTM

NEEDED SUPPORT

  • The current fund status is to make two to three products with demo kits which are useful to explain the product to hospitals scholars and childcare departments.

  • The future requirements are design experts in nano-Technology and technical experts and funds to develop this product cost-efficient. The need for machinery to develop this product.

  • To develop a single product can cost up to 4k-6k To develop this product we want machinery like 3d printing sensors and developing integrated circuits with the help of advanced computers and technical teams. so we develop this product more efficiently.

  • To raise the funds we are planning to get loans and share-holders and stakeholders who are interseted in the project can buy shares of the company or investing partners for the company are mostly welcome for building this project...
