Speaking of TVAAS . . .
What’s the most important thing that new teachers and leaders need to know about TVAAS and/or data use?
Our current training was created in 2018 with input from data contacts at several districts, and includes the following topics: What is TVAAS, History of TVAAS, Teaching and Assessing Standards, Technology for assessment and data organization, Student involvement, Common Test Preparation Methods, Example TVAAS Data Analysis.
Ethics for Educators
Both Initial Teacher Licensure and Advanced Licensure Candidates are required to complete ethics trainings/instruction aligned with the NASDTEC Model Code of Ethics for Educators:

Trauma Informed and Responsive Practices
Both Initial Teacher Licensure and Advanced Licensure Candidates will likely soon be required to complete trainings/instruction on Trauma Informed and Responsive Practices.
We are piloting our Trauma Informed and Responsive Practices trainings this semester.
We wish to differentiate this training for grade bands (to provide more specific and actionable information) as well as expand to include Trauma Informed Leadership practices.
