The Problem

• Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia are presenting the human race with one of its toughest challenges.

​

• Someone in the world develops alzheimer’s every 3 seconds. There are over 55 million people worldwide living with dementia in 2021.

​

• This progressive neurologic disorder leads to impaired memory, stealing away everything that you have cherished your entire life.

​

• An alzheimer patient experiences a far worse journey, losing their memories, and they lose so much of who they are as a person

​

• Memory Box is mobile based application backed by a web-application that ensures compatibility and stability in its own accord.

• An accessible and inclusive mobile/web application to address the disabilities that people with alzheimer's face on a daily basis

​

• Rather than being a solution for a particular problem, our application ensures multiple solutions for other related problems.

​

• It makes it possible for people with Alzheimer's disease to retain a sense of identity during the process of the disease poses a great challenge to care-givers, professionals and family caregivers.

Impact of our App

• This mobile app can help patients with dementia in the enhancement of their quality of life by targeting at their cognitive deficiencies.

​

•  In addition, as evidence shows, mobile phone apps can especially contribute to an early diagnosis and assessment of dementia. 

​

• They can also assist caregivers who are in most cases patients' spouses in lowering their mental and economic burden and learning more about their patients.

​

• Generally, in the early phases of dementia, respectively mild-to-moderate stage of dementia, mobile phone apps can make these people independent and socially engaged. 

​

• This enables patients to stay independent on their tasks of daily living; they may cut potential costs on treatment and hospitalization.
