The National Speakers Association of NYC (a.k.a. ‘NSANYC’) is an affiliate of the National Speakers Association (a.k.a. ‘National’). As an affiliate chapter, we exist to help you build and grow your speaking business with a collection of like-minded, supportive individuals.

Additionally, as NSANYC, we embody the core values of NSA National which are:

Certified Speaking Professional is a designation awarded by National. There are only 1000 of these speakers, and we are lucky to have a few in NSA NYC.

Cavett Robert was NSA’s founder and each year, a National member is given an award for exemplifying qualities he embedded into National like generosity, wisdom, encouragement, respect, honor, and more

      • These meetings bring in an expert on a topic to help you build your speaking business.
      • Time: 1pm – 3:30pm
      • Location: Scandinavia House (unless otherwise noted)
      • You may bring a first time guest to in-person themed learning chapter meetings for free with the code

June Annual Luncheon

      • 3-course lunch is included for all attendees

July Mixer

​

      • Network with your fellow members at a bar in midtown NYC.
      • We meet for cocktails (or mocktails!) for a few hours on a July evening
      • This is a pay-your-own-way meeting (BUT first drink for members is on us as long as you registered) guests are encouraged to join us!

Want to practice your opening, closing, or a story and get peer feedback?

NSA NYC created its own Toastmaster’s club expressly for this purpose.

We are the first NSA chapter in the country to do this.

You MUST be an NSA NYC member to join our Toastmasters club

​

​

If you want to be a part of this historic club:

​

  1. Fill in the membership form
  2. Submit your Toastmasters dues ($140/year):

​

The club will meet (mostly) in person, the first Friday of the month.

    • Mentee spots are limited and are first come first serve every fall
