Restorative Practices Paradigm Shift

Restorative principles and practices are a shift away from thinking about rules being broken, who broke the rule, and how we punish those who broke the rule. There’s a shift to-- the harm caused, the disagreement or dispute, and how do we repair the harm, address the conflict, and meet the needs of those involved so that relationships and community can be repaired and restored.
