  • Choose a total of 8 classes from the front and back of the card by marking an “X” beside the course name. One of each of the following is required: English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
  • Courses in bold print are offered as an A/B class (alternating day) for an entire school year. You must choose an even number of bold courses. All other courses are taught every day for one semester (either fall or spring).
  • Choose six alternate courses (3 semester and 3 A/B day) by writing the course names in the boxes on the back of the card. At least one 4x4 alternate must be a CTE class. If no alternates are chosen, courses will be selected by scheduling staff and will not be changed. Alternates must be different than top choice class requests.
  • All course offerings on this card and any specific course requests are tentative and subject to administrative adjustment. Students will have two opportunities to request changes before the courses begin (Amnesty Day in May and through an email request system in August).

We recommend communicating with your child’s teachers when selecting courses for the next school year. Consider courses that will provide your child a challenging but successful educational experience. Students may be subject to administrative schedule changes for academic reasons. All course offerings on this card are tentative.

We have carefully considered the above course selections. We understand that courses chosen require a year commitment and may not be changed or dropped once school begins on the first day.
