Wash hands and counter. Put on apron.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

    • keeps baked products moist,
    • seals in the flavor
    • allows a nice browning effect to occur
    • It also ensures that the food will be baked the right amount of time according to the recipe.

Gather ingredients

For each person:

1 hot dog

1 biscuit

Cut hot dog in half with butter knife.

  • Cut biscuit in half
  • Wrap biscuit around hot dog

Place seam side down on pan

OVEN SAFETY

  • Use 2 oven mitts
  • Open door all the way
  • Place in pan on top shelf
  • Set oven timer for 8 minutes.

Set timer for 8 minutes to check. Make sure they are golder brown. It might take 10 minutes.

During baking time - clean-up and work

on station sheet instructions.

  • Remove carefully from oven and place on the stove to cool.
  • Turn off the timer and the oven.
  • Use spatula and place on a paper towel.
  • Enjoy!
  • Don’t forget to clean-up!

Clean Up!

Place ingredients back into containers and pour water into sink.

Wash dishes:

  • Put warm water and dish soap into sink.
  • Wash dishes with the small white and blue washcloth.
  • Rinse soap off of dishes.
  • Place dishes in strainer.
  • Dry dishes with large white cloth towel.

Wash counter and table with white and blue washcloth.

Put a clean paper towel on the table and place all clean equipment on paper towel for the next class.

Wash sink and fold washcloth and towel.

Tighten.

Add HOT water and a small amount of dish soap.

Begin washing -

use BLUE wash cloths.

Rinse off soap with HOT water.
