GLOBAL HEROES OF HOPE CANDIDATES CRITERIA

  • Must be a survivor and/or caregiver
  • Must be an active volunteer with their cancer organization
  • Must be an active Relay For Life participant
  • Exemplary involvement in cancer activities such as community involvement in other areas of the country’s cancer organization (ex. Cancer Support group.)
  • Must be nominated by a staff partnerner

GLOBAL HEROES HOPE ROLE EXPECTATIONS

  • Represent their cancer organization
  • Actively participate in the Global Heroes of Hope program for a full year
  • Recruit other survivors and caregivers to participate in cancer organization activities including RFL
  • Grant permission to have his/her story and photograph publicized, promoted and published
