INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
INTEGRATED STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION
Fourth Plain Forward, the district association for the area known as the “International District” in Vancouver, WA, provides activities for residents, such as Art in the Park and technical assistance for local businesses, including web design and marketing training opportunities.
The Summer Internship is twofold:
- (1) to map out how to best communicate with our communities, creating marketing personas for our different target groups, utilizing numerous research measures including focus groups, in-person/virtual interviews, surveys. A budget will be allocated to manage these processes and the intern will be responsible for managing and reporting on expenditure.
- (2) a deep dive into our current communications platforms, undertaking an audit and realigning them to FPFs needs with the potential to undertake some campaigns (time permitting).
- The internship is a flexible “work from wherever you like role” but also has full access to the Fourth Plain Forward office. There will be a need to visit the office from time to time as part of the work.
- Supervised by the Executive Director
- Travel expenses and out of pocket expenses will be covered.
- Meals will be provided when on official business
- A laptop and paid access to wifi will be provided for the duration of the internship
