  • Neither one is more powerful
  • It is unplanned and usually both people want it to stop
  • It is physical or verbal harm

  • One person does not hold a lot more power over the other. Friends and siblings often have conflict.
  • Both parties are harming each other either physically or verbally

  • If a compromise is available, both parties both parties would be willing to work it out

  • Verbal insults are likely to occur between both parties

  • The bully gets rewarded by the bad feelings of the target

  • A bully might physically harm another by punching, hitting, pushing, pulling hair, or anything that causes physical harm
  • Sometimes the bully only uses words to make the target feel bad. Unlike teasing, only one person thinks it’s funny.
