13 “You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord.
“Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’

3:14 你们说：『事奉神是徒然的， 遵守神所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前苦苦斋戒， 有甚么益处呢？
14 “You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty?
以赛亚书Isaiah 58
58:3 他们说：我们禁食，你为何不看见呢？我们刻苦己心，你为何不理会呢？
�3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say,‘and you have not seen it?�Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?’

3:14 你们说：『事奉神是徒然的， 遵守神所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前苦苦斋戒， 有甚么益处呢？
3:15 如今我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得建立；�他们虽然试探神，却得脱离灾难。』」
14 “You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty?
15 But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.’”

3:16 那时，敬畏耶和华的彼此谈论，耶和华侧耳而听，且有纪念册在他面前，记录那敬畏耶和华、思念他名的人。
Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.

「事奉神是徒然的! 有甚么好处? 」(3:14)�It is futile to serve God. What do we gain?
「在我所定的日子，他们必属我，特特归我。
我必怜恤他们，如同人怜恤服事自己的儿子。
那时你们必归回，将善人和恶人，事奉神的和
不事奉神的，分别出来。」 �“they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. (3:17-18)
真正的事奉 True service
以赛亚书Isaiah 58:6-7 �我所拣选的禁食不是要松开凶恶的绳，解下轭上的索，使被欺压的得自由，折断一切的轭吗？
不是要把你的饼分给饥饿的人，将飘流的穷人接到你家中，见赤身的给他衣服遮体，顾恤自己的骨肉而不掩藏吗？
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?�Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
神的回应: 公义与医治 God’s response: righteousness &healing
「狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得建立。」(3:15)

「那日临近，势如烧着的火炉，凡狂傲的和行恶的
必如碎秸，在那日必被烧尽，根本枝条一无存留。」(4:1)
Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. �All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, �and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” �says the Lord Almighty. �“Not a root or a branch will be left to them.
万军之耶和华说：
「…但向你们敬畏我名的人
必有公义的日头出现，其光线 �(原文:翅膀)有医治之能。
你们必出来跳跃如圈里的肥犊。」(4:2)�But for you who revere my name, �the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. �And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

「你们必践踏恶人；在我所定的日子，
他们必如灰尘在你们脚掌之下。
这是万军之耶和华说的。 」(4:3)
Then you will trample on the wicked; �they will be ashes under the soles of your feet �on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
神的期望: 人记得神 God’s expectation: we remember
4:4-6 「你们当记念我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山为以色列众人所吩咐他的律例典章。
「看哪，耶和华大而可畏之日未到以前，我必差遣先知伊莱贾到你们那里去。他必使父亲的心转向儿女，儿女的心转向父亲，免得我来咒诅遍地。」
Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.
5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
