Complete 3 activities on the Time Choice Board (if you haven’t already completed) (due Friday, April 1).

  • Challenge yourself to do more if you already completed 3 activities.

Write 2 sentences to inform a reader about something you know alot about.

● Write a sentence about your invention for the summative project!

*Make a list of things you recycle at home. What is your most frequently recycled item?

* Find a video on the life and inventions of George Washington Carver on YouTube. What obstacles did he overcome to become a successful inventor?

* Tell your parent about your invention. What is it called? How will it impact society?

* Skip count by 2 as high as you can. Record on paper.

Reading: We will be completing summative presentations this week! We are so excited to see the inventions students have come up with. We will also be assessing Author’s Purpose for writing.

Writing: We will be wrapping up opinion writing this week and reviewing writing conventions and parts of speech we have learned so far.

Science/SS: Recycling /George Washington Carver

We will learn about recycling and its benefits. In Social Studies,we will learn about the thousands of inventions of George Washington Carver and how they still impact our lives today.
