We are committed to preparing students for economically self-sufficient, choice-filled lives. We help students build a strong why for their paths after high school.

College & Career Counseling: Staffing Update

College & Career Counseling

We now have a Junior College Counselor and a Senior Manager of College & Career Counseling.

We are a pilot school in the KIPP Network for the new Junior Seminar curriculum and focusing on career integration

What does this priority look like in action?

Students cultivate skills to:

  • Create strong 100% DL environment building transferable skills for college
  • Adaptability during uncertainty
  • Know Who You Are: develop & practice self-awareness (SEL phase work, YouScience)
  • Know Your Numbers: KIPPsters’ know and grow their academic profiles, including their GPA, ACT, and AP scores
  • Explore passion, purpose, plan and fit
  • Building a Network: Identify and utilize a strong support team

School will provide:

  • AP For All: prepare all students so they have the choice to attend college
  • Junior & Senior Seminar: provide classes where students have support in post-secondary research & planning
