Arduino kit

  • Please bring your entire Arduino kit to the lab. We will be using a few components from your kit - Power supply module & L293D chip for Lab 3D. We will also be using 2 Arduinos in Lab 3D

Amplitude VS frequency plots

In lab 3D we will be collecting forced oscillation data at different driving frequencies and identifying the settling amplitudes

We will then use that information to create the plots on the left (position vs. time at resonance and settling amplitude vs. frequency ratio)

​

The resonant frequency of the oscillator is where the settling amplitude reaches a maximum (as shown on these plots)
