Our system looks at your computer’s external IP address to determine if it has been registered on our end for automatic access.

We can register external IPs if your internet service provider has indicated that your IP is for use in Wisconsin only. This is required by our vendors, since Wisconsin resources are licensed for Wisconsin residents only. Sometimes service providers indicate that an IP is “dynamic,” which means they may move that IP around from state to state. If that’s the case for your IP, unfortunately we can’t register it since it could be in use in Texas or California tomorrow!
