So Turkey is trying to improve itself in this area by making new paths, new marathons and more competitions.
However, there are lots of citizens using bikes as their transportation.
Compared to other countries, Turkey is not that bike friendly.
When it comes to being bike friendly, Konya is considered as a very important town in Turkey.

The Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation picked Konya, a city in Turkey, as a development area for bicycles and built a 550 km cycle path which makes Konya the World’s 2nd longest cycle path ever.

Also, Turkey announces their new plans for Konya to make the path longer by 2023, (by) adding 500 km more to the path.
Of course Konya is not the only city in Turkey that is considered as a bike friendly town.

There are other cities in Turkey like:
İzmir
Gaziantep
Eskişehir
İstanbul
Hatay
Ankara
Mersin
Antalya
Especially cities that attract most of the tourists have some businesses based on preparing a whole bike tour to introduce the cities and have a sightseeing experience without getting tired from walking.
Due to COVID-19, Turkey had to ban the usage of public transportation for a while.
This restriction caused people to use bicycles as their transportation source beside cars.
This huge increase in the usage of bicycles led Turkey to develop new and longer cycle paths for their citizens.
